Behrooz Nakhkoob

Behrooz Nakhkoob possesses extensive experience in analog and mixed signal IC design, beginning as a graduate student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2008 to 2012, focusing on wideband wireless CMOS optical receivers. Following doctoral studies, Behrooz transitioned into roles at RPI concentrating on high precision optical RADARs for applications in gesture recognition and autonomous technology. Since December 2013, Behrooz has been with Broadcom Inc., currently serving as a Senior Principle IC Design Engineer, developing high-speed linear analog front ends in advanced CMOS technology. Previous roles include leading projects at Niroo Research Institute and Avago Technologies, along with foundational work in RF circuit design and analog signal processing at IRIB and as a founder of Grashico Engineering Company. Academic credentials include a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and both a BS and MS in Electronics from Iran University of Science and Technology.
