Benjamin Kappel

Benjamin Kappel is an experienced ASIC Verification Engineer with a solid background in HDD and SSD interface ASIC design and verification. Kappel has worked at Seagate Technology from January 2013 to August 2015, where responsibilities included maintaining verification environments using VMM and UVM. Following this, Kappel transitioned to Broadcom, taking on roles as R&D IC Design II and R&D IC Design III, focusing on designing and verifying HDD interface ASICs. Previous experience includes a Software Engineer Intern position at EchoStar Corporation, where server chassis integration and performance analysis were key responsibilities, as well as administrative and IT support roles during time spent at Colorado State University, culminating in a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
