Claudio Piemonte is an experienced professional in the field of electronic engineering, holding a degree from Università degli studi di Trieste. Early career experience includes a position as Borsista at INFN from September 1999 to August 2001 and serving as Assegnista di Ricerca at Università degli Studi di Trieste from September 2001 to May 2002. Claudio then joined Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK-irst), where roles progressed from Junior Researcher to Senior Researcher and ultimately to Head of the Silicon Radiation Sensors Research Unit from June 2002 to December 2009. Following this, Claudio served as CTO at AdvanSiD from June 2010 to December 2014, later advancing to Head of Radiation Sensor R&D at Broadcom Inc. since August 2017.
