Fang Cheng

Fang Cheng is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in research and development, particularly in the fields of optical transceivers and RF products. Currently serving as a Principal R&D Engineer at Broadcom Inc. since September 2012, Fang Cheng focuses on the development of test equipment, managing the complete process from initial product design to final integration, while specializing in high-speed circuit designs and signal integrity analysis. Previously, Fang Cheng worked as a Research Engineer at the Institute for Infocomm Research, where responsibilities included schematic and PCB layout design for medical equipment. Earlier roles included serving as an RF Engineer at ST Electronics, where design and testing of RF and microwave products for satellite communications were key duties. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, complemented by further studies at Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
