Fred Garcia

Fred Garcia has extensive experience in engineering and product development within the telecommunications and wireless sectors. Beginning as a Communications Engineer at the Philippine Communications Satellite Corporation, Fred progressed through various roles, including Senior Manufacturing RF Engineer at Proxim and Product Manager at DiCon Fiberoptics. As a Senior RF Test Engineer at SOMA Networks, Fred led the development of testing strategies for mobile broadband technologies. Fred currently serves as a Consultant and Senior RF/Wireless Connectivity Test Development Engineer at Broadcom, where significant contributions include developing compliance tests for WiFi devices. Fred holds a BS in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Santo Tomas and has furthered education through extension courses at the University of California, Berkeley.
