Fred Olsson

Fred Olsson is an accomplished professional with over two decades of experience in product management and chip architecture. Currently serving as the Director of Product Management at Broadcom since October 2010, Fred leads a team focused on Ethernet switch ICs for enterprise networks and 5G radio infrastructure. Prior to this role, Fred was the Director of Product Line at Cortina Systems, where responsibilities included managing the Ethernet MAC product line and co-founding the Interlaken Alliance. Fred's career began at Agilent Technologies as a Chip Architect, where contributions included the development of the first Ethernet/Sonet framer IC.
