Frederick Tang

Frederick Tang is currently the Associate Technical Director at Broadcom, where they have been a Senior Principal Scientist since 2008, focusing on coherent m-QAM DSP algorithms, PAM-N, and high-speed optical signal integrity. They previously held positions at Agilent Laboratories and Agilent Technologies, where they contributed to research on tunable lasers and served as a process integration engineer. Additionally, Frederick worked as a Senior Design Engineer at Intel Corp and Big Bear Networks, specializing in optical system design and validation. Frederick earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, where they also obtained an MSEE, following a BSEE from the University of Michigan.
