Ian Hall has over 16 years of experience in security and compliance, currently serving in the Security Certifications and Compliance role within the Enterprise Security Group at Broadcom since February 2016. Prior to this, Ian worked as a Security Engineer at Corsec Security from April 2011 to February 2016, focusing on consulting services for Common Criteria and FIPS 140-2 validations, which included hardware and software design analysis and documentation generation. Ian began his career as an Engineer at BAE Systems from May 2007 to April 2011. Ian holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from Virginia Tech, obtained in 2007, and received secondary education from Chantilly High School and Ocean City High School.
