Jason Herrick

Jason Herrick is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in software architecture and engineering. Currently serving as a Technical Director and Distinguished Engineer at Broadcom Limited since February 2000, Jason specializes in set top box technologies, focusing on video back-end processing, HDR design, system security, and graphics solutions. Prior to this role, Jason was a Technical Manager at Micron Technology from 1997 to 2000, where responsibilities included improving 3D algorithms for hardware-accelerated chipsets. Jason's career began at Dynamic Graphics, Inc. from 1992 to 1997 as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to software design in geological mapping and simulations. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara, earned between 1989 and 1992.
