John Krautheim

John Krautheim, PhD, is a Principal Security Engineer at Broadcom Inc. and a seasoned cyber security researcher, educator, and practitioner. With a focus on Malware Analysis, Reverse Engineering, Cellular Systems, Wireless Security, and Cyber Physical Systems, Krautheim has held key roles including Chief Cloud Security Architect for the United States Department of Defense and Chief Standards Architect at PCI Security Standards Council. They have taught at several institutions, including Augusta University and the Naval Postgraduate School, while contributing significantly to cyber security curriculum development and community outreach initiatives. Krautheim holds a PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, as well as multiple degrees in engineering.
