Karen Schramm

Karen Schramm is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in engineering and product development. Currently serving as Vice President of Technology at Broadcom since March 2006, Karen leads a multi-site architecture team focused on product definition and technology advancement within the Compute & Connectivity business, encompassing Network Interface Controllers, Network Processors, Switches, and System-on-a-Chip devices. Prior to this role, Karen was a Senior Technical Director in Engineering at Broadcom following the acquisition of Sandburst, where Karen held the position of Vice President of Engineering. Earlier career experiences include serving as a Consulting Engineer at Ironbridge Networks and a Senior Principle Engineer at GTE Government Systems. Karen holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University.
