Karl Muth

Karl Muth is a skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in optical communication systems and high-speed design. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Systems Architect at Broadcom Inc. since June 2019, Karl focuses on the architecture of terabit optical communication systems using silicon photonics. Previously, Karl held the role of Director of Data Communication Engineering at Rockley Photonics Inc., where responsibilities included the architecture and integration of high-speed analog and mixed signal ICs. Earlier positions include Manager of Systems Engineering at Intel Corporation, Systems Engineer at Texas Instruments, and various design engineering roles at Maxim Integrated Products, Marconi PLC, Krone AG, and Siemens AG. Karl holds a Diplom degree in Nachrichtentechnik from Technische Universität Darmstadt.
