Manish Mehta

Manish Mehta is the Vice President of Marketing and Operations for the Optical Systems Division at Broadcom Inc., a role they have held since 2021 after previously serving as Head of PLM and Strategy in the same division from 2019 to 2021. They began their career in academia as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of New Mexico, leading a team focused on the design and testing of hybrid optical devices. With extensive experience in product line management and strategy across various companies, including Source Photonics and Teledyne, Manish has demonstrated a commitment to advancing technology in the optical communications field. They hold a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and the University of California, Santa Barbara, respectively.
