Mark Gentile

Mark Gentile is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in endpoint security products, currently serving as Chief Architect at Broadcom Inc. within the Symantec Enterprise Division since November 2019. Prior to this role, Gentile held multiple leadership positions at Symantec from March 2012 to November 2019, including Vice President and Chief Architect for Enterprise Endpoint Security Products. Gentile's earlier career includes founding and serving as President & CEO of Odyssey Software for over 16 years, and working as Manager of Systems Engineering at Applied Tactical Systems, Inc. from 1986 to 1996. Gentile began his professional journey as a Research Fellow at Masonic Medical Research Laboratory from 1981 to 1983. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering and Biology from Rochester Institute of Technology and an Associate of Science in Physical Sciences from Mohawk Valley Community College.
