Matt Rowley

Matt Rowley is a seasoned professional in the field of integrated circuit design, currently serving as a Senior Manager at Broadcom since October 2004, focusing on the VideoCore GPU team. With extensive experience, Rowley previously held the position of ASIC Lead on various mobile chips, working with technologies from 130nm to 40nm. Prior to Broadcom, Rowley worked at Alphamosaic as a Design Engineer, where responsibilities included designing and verifying peripheral RTL for VC01 and leading the peripheral design for VC02, which achieved high-volume production with Apple for the original video iPod. Rowley's earlier career included roles at Jennic Ltd, focusing on floorplanning and layout, and at VLSI Technology as a Junior Design Engineer. Matt Rowley earned a BEng with First Class honors in Microelectronic and Computer Engineering from the University of Staffordshire between 1996 and 1999.
