Michael Burnside

Michael Burnside is an Associate Technical Director at Broadcom, where they focus on chip implementation, synthesis, formal verification, and timing closure for high-speed ethernet controllers, mobile processors, and cellular chips. With many years of experience as an ASIC Design Engineer, they have worked on device specification, RTL coding, and full-chip synthesis. Michael began their career at Iomega Corporation, designing hard disk controllers, before transitioning to senior roles at Pinpoint Solutions Inc. Michael holds a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Utah State University.
