Michael Frank serves as the Director for Global R&D of DevOps and Open Mainframe Product Portfolio for IBM Z at Broadcom since April 2022, leading a team focused on modernizing technology for the Z/OS platform. Prior to this, Michael held various leadership positions at IBM from June 1994 to April 2022, including Program Director and Head of Engineering for Blockchain Technologies, where responsibilities included managing the Software Development Lifecycle for the TradeLens platform. Michael's roles involved significant contributions to the IBM Blockchain Platform and leading teams for IBM Container Service, establishing various software development teams, and acting as Chief of Staff to an IBM Fellow. Michael holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Penn State University.
