Minhua Zhou

Minhua Zhou is the Technical Director at Broadcom, where they specialize in digital video compression and embedded software development. Since 2013, Minhua has focused on next-generation video compression standards, including HEVC and SHVC, while contributing to universal video transcoding and deep learning innovations. With prior roles as a research engineer at the Heinrich Hertz Institute and a research manager at Texas Instruments, Minhua brings extensive experience in the field. Minhua earned a B.E. and M.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Communication & Electronic Systems from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, followed by a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University Braunschweig.
