Nabarun Pal

Nabarun Pal is a Principal Software Engineer at Broadcom, where they serve as a technical lead for the Tanzu Platform and open-source initiatives. As a maintainer of the Kubernetes project, they have been deeply involved in eight releases since 2019 and held roles including chair of Kubernetes SIG Contributor Experience and Release Manager for Kubernetes 1.21. Nabarun is also an emeritus member of the Kubernetes Steering Committee and the Code of Conduct Committee, continuously mentoring newcomers in the community. They are an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, where they earned a Bachelor of Technology in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering.
