Niranjan Vaidya

Niranjan Vaidya is a distinguished engineer at Broadcom Inc. since October 2008, focusing on research and design in areas such as switch ASICs, fabrics for cloud and AI/ML, and programmable data planes. Previously, Niranjan served as a principal architect at OpenClovis from 2004 to 2008, leading the architecture for high availability cluster ware and managing development teams across California and Bangalore. Prior to that, Niranjan worked as a system architect and R&D manager at Ericsson from 1998 to 2003, where responsibilities included leading router design and packet processing. Niranjan's career began as a staff engineer at IBM from 1995 to 1998, specializing in network stacks and kernels. Educational qualifications include a BE in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai and an MS in Computer Science from Iowa State University.
