Philip Ryan

Philip Ryan is an experienced engineering professional, currently serving as Director of Engineering at Broadcom since February 2010. Prior roles include VP Engineering and Manager of Digital ASICs at G2 Microsystems from April 2004 to February 2010, and Manager of Digital Systems at Cisco Systems from 2001 to 2004. Philip began a career in engineering as Principal Design Engineer at Radiata from 1998 to January 2001, following a CSO position at Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) Australia from 1992 to 1997. Early experience includes a Design Engineer role at OTC from 1991 to 1992. Philip holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Sydney, with studies at St John's College from 1985 to 1987.
