Raj Hegde

Raj Hegde is an experienced Senior Principal Scientist in IC Design at Broadcom Corporation, with a focus on signal processing algorithm and architecture development as well as VLSI design for high-speed interconnect products since June 2010. Prior to this role, Raj served as a Senior Design Engineer at ST-Ericsson, where responsibilities included signal processing design for cellular transceiver ICs, and at Silicon Laboratories, specializing in digital design and mixed signal verification. Raj began the career as a Design Engineer at Intersymbol Communications Inc., developing signal processing algorithms for optical communications, and gained initial experience as a summer intern at Ikanos Communications and Intel Corporation, working on algorithm design and high-speed circuit design, respectively. Raj holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
