Robert Chiang

Robert (Nien-Bou) Chiang is a seasoned Test Engineering Manager at Broadcom Limited, where experience spans from 2004 to the present. Since February 2016, Robert has led the Wired-Infrastructure Test Engineering Team and Engineering Support Services Team, overseeing reference design testing for diverse product lines, including Set-top Boxes and NICs, while also managing engineering support services for company-wide requests. Prior to this role, Robert managed a global test team for the Infrastructure & Networking Group and played a pivotal role in significant corporate transitions, including the Avago merger. Previous positions include Principal Test Engineer and Operations Lead Engineer, contributing to standardization efforts and project support in WLAN technologies. Earlier career experiences include roles at NextComm and Motorola, focused on WLAN development and RF engineering, respectively. Robert holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington and a prior educational background from the University of Alberta.
