Satish Pudi

Satish Pudi is currently the Director of R&D at VMware by Broadcom, a position held since 2023. Previously, they served as the Director of Engineering at VMware from 2017 to 2023, focusing on building the next generation HCI storage stack and innovating in the Cloud/DR space. Their extensive experience includes roles as a Senior Manager at Oracle from 2012 to 2017, where they managed NFS and SMB protocol development teams, and as an Engineering Manager at NetApp from 2008 to 2012, overseeing the CIFS protocol development team. Satish began their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Sun Microsystems from 2000 to 2008. They are currently pursuing a degree at the University of North Texas.
