Shawn Guo

Shawn Guo is a Principal Engineer specializing in ASIC Design with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, currently employed at Broadcom since January 2012. In this role, Shawn focuses on analog-mix signal simulation for LPDDR3 PHY verification and is adept at programming memory controllers to optimize performance. Prior positions include Principal Engineer at Broadcom, where contributions involved characterization of PCIe and memory interfaces, and at AMD, where Shawn developed ATE functional vectors for DTV ASICs and performed failure analysis to enhance production quality. Early career experience includes ASIC design and verification at ViXS Systems Inc. and FPGA design at System Engineering Research Inc. Shawn holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Harbin Engineering University in China.
