Sherman Chen

Sherman (Xuemin) Chen is currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at Broadcom Inc. since February 2000. Sherman (Xuemin) holds the title of Vice President and Broadcom (Corporation) Fellow, with previous roles including Technical Director and Senior Staff Engineer at General Instrument (GI) / Motorola Broadband Communication Sector. Sherman (Xuemin) also worked as a Research Engineer at Johnson-Grace Company, acquired by America Online. Sherman obtained their Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California in 1992.
