Somjit Mittra

Somjit Mittra is an experienced technical manager and senior technical lead at Broadcom Inc. since February 2016, following a decade-long tenure at Avago Technologies where responsibilities included marketing new products, customer software support, and defining future networking products. Prior positions included senior applications engineer and senior SerDes engineer, focusing on chip design, RTL coding, and customer interfacing. Early career experience consists of a graduate assistant position at the Human Motor Performance Lab, where skills in digital filter design and plugin development were honed, and as a software engineer at IBM Global Services, specializing in coding for S/370 Mainframe systems. Somjit holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Florida and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from MSRIT Bangalore.
