Suresh Bashyam

Suresh Bashyam is a seasoned engineering executive with extensive experience in cloud services and enterprise solutions. Currently serving as Sr Director of Engineering for the VMware Cloud Foundation at Broadcom, Suresh oversees the management plane following the acquisition of VMware by Broadcom. Prior to this, Suresh held multiple leadership roles at VMware, including Vice President of Engineering for VMware Cloud Services, where the focus was on building and operating the VMware Cloud Service Platform, facilitating subscription services across various cloud environments. Suresh's previous experience includes significant positions at Salesforce, Amazon, Openwave, Bytemobile (acquired by Citrix), and Nortel Networks, demonstrating a robust track record in managing large engineering teams, driving product innovation, and enhancing CI/CD processes. Suresh holds an M.S. in Computer Science from Calpoly, San Luis Obispo, and a B.E. in Computer Science from Bharathiar University.
