Tim Balog

Tim Balog is the Regional Technology Officer for Federal Sales at Broadcom, where they leverage over 30 years of experience in cybersecurity, team management, and technical sales. Previously, they held significant roles at Symantec, including Director of North America Channel Technical Sales and Senior Manager for Federal Field Sales Engineering, where they led teams to address complex information security challenges. Tim began their career as a Military Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Army, which laid the foundation for their deep expertise in IT security. They also hold a Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence from the National Intelligence University and a Bachelor of Arts from Furman University. Outside of work, Tim enjoys mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, and spending time with family.
