Tom Gibaud is a Staff Solutions Architect at VMware, where they lead technical discovery sessions and design comprehensive solutions for cloud and infrastructure challenges. With a professional background rooted in VMware Cloud Foundation and extensive experience in systems engineering and IT management, Tom has effectively guided organizations in their modernization journeys and technology adoption. Recently, they have developed a strong interest in AI and LLMs, building hands-on experience in model inference and automation within their own lab. Previously, Tom served as a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer at Palo Alto Networks and held various pivotal roles at Rochester General Hospital, significantly impacting system performance and reliability. They hold an Associate of Science degree in General Studies from Monroe Community College.
