Vanessa Smith, CPA, has extensive experience in finance and accounting, currently serving in a Sales Finance role at Broadcom since April 2024. Prior to this, Vanessa held the position of Director of Accounting Shared Services at Ducommun Incorporated, overseeing corporate accounting, financial reporting, and technical accounting from December 2018 to April 2024. With a significant tenure at Skyworks Solutions, Inc., as a Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting, and various roles at Broadcom, including Manager of Technical Accounting, Vanessa has developed expertise in consolidations, international accounting, and shared services. Early career experiences include positions with SBE Entertainment, Grant Thornton as an Audit Associate, and tutoring at UCLA while earning a BA in Business Economics and Accounting.
