Won Jun Jo

Won Jun Jo is a Staff Hardware R&D Engineer at Broadcom Inc., specializing in wireless semiconductor development since 2023. Previously, Won Jun worked as a Senior Process Engineer at Lam Research, focusing on process development for VNAND Flash Memory and DRAM from 2020 to 2023. They also served as a Molecular Foundry Primary Researcher at Berkeley Lab, advancing scalable nanostructured semiconductor devices between 2017 and 2020. Won Jun earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they conducted pioneering research in polymer thin-film integration for organic solar cells. They began their career in research at Pohang University of Science and Technology and served as a Peace Keeper in the Republic of Korea Army prior to their academic pursuits.
