Yumeng Xu

Yumeng Xu is an experienced ASIC Design Engineer currently working at Broadcom since November 2025. Prior to this role, Yumeng held the same title at Juniper Networks from June 2021 to October 2025 and at Fortinet from February 2015 to February 2020, where extensive experience was gained across the entire design flow for multiple ASICs and participation in micro-architecture of IP. Between February 2020 and June 2021, Yumeng served as a Research Scientist at Alibaba Group, contributing to the integration of Coherent Mesh Network for a high-core-count data center processor and debugging critical system components. Yumeng's academic background includes a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
