Christopher Spofford is a Partner at Broadhaven. Prior to joining Broadhaven, they spent 17 years at Goldman Sachs, where they ran the asset management investment banking practice for the Americas. During their time at Goldman Sachs, Christopher advised on a number of notable transactions, including the sale of Russell Investments to LSE Group, the acquisition of Robeco Group by ORIX Corporation, and the sale of Artio Global Investors to Aberdeen Asset Management. Christopher also advised Lincoln Financial Group on its sale of Delaware Investments to Macquarie Group, Rydex Investments on its sale to Security Benefit, and Nuveen on its sale to Madison Dearborn Partners. In addition, Christopher was involved in a number of high-profile capital markets transactions, including IPOs and follow-on offerings for Artisan Partners and Virtus Investment Partners, and the dual-tranche common and mandatory offering for Janus Capital Group.
