Ryan Fernandes

Ryan Fernandes, CFA CA(SA), has extensive work experience in finance and investment banking. Ryan is currently serving as the Managing Director at Broadhaven Capital Partners, a position they have held since June 2023. Prior to this, they held the same role at Thunder Bridge Capital from July 2021 to June 2023.

Before their roles in the capital markets, Ryan worked at Morgan Stanley for over a decade. Ryan was an Executive Director from January 2018 to July 2021 and an Associate from August 2011 to July 2021.

Ryan began their career at KPMG, where they worked as a Supervisor from January 2006 to July 2009. Overall, Ryan's work experience showcases their expertise in finance and investment management at reputable organizations.

Ryan Fernandes, CFA CA(SA), holds an MBA in Finance, Analytical Finance, and Entrepreneurship from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Ryan also obtained a B.Bus.Sci degree in Finance (CA) from the University of Cape Town. In addition to their educational background, Ryan holds certifications as a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute.
