Sean McAfee

Sean McAfee has a long and varied work history. Sean began their career in 1983 as an Armor Specialist in the United States Army. In 1997, they took on the role of Senior Systems Analyst at Glenview State Bank, where they were responsible for Oracle DBA, UNIX administrator, Data warehouse design and administration, importing data from mainframe to Oracle DBMS on AIX, designing user reports and ad-hoc query screens, developing documentation and training for users, and migrating the system from Oracle to MS Access. In 2004, they became Manager at Salvus Software Solutions. From 2006 to 2008, they were Director of Information Technology at Integrated Pain Solutions, where they coordinated all contractors on system process design and creation. In 2008, they became a Technologist at First Global Medtech, where they helped bring cutting-edge healthcare technologies from around the globe to the Middle East and worked with the Government of Dubai to present acquired technologies for use in Dubai Healthcare City. Sean also became Self-employed as a Consultant, helping start-ups start up with IT, marketing, communications design, and websites. In 2015, they took on the role of Support Specialist at Broadnet.

Sean McAfee attended Towson University from 1979 to 1983, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications/Journalism. Sean then attended Lighthouse Writer's Workshop from 2008 to 2013, focusing on Fiction Writing. Finally, they attended Red Rocks Community College from 2013 to 2014, studying SQL Server 2012, HTML5/CSS3/Web Design.
