Kevin Arts

Kevin Arts is currently the Director of Information Technology at BroadPath. Prior to this, Kevin was a Sr. Network Engineer at Login from February 2019 to December 2019. There, they were responsible for the Core Routing and Switching Infrastructure, provisioning Ethernet IP circuits, troubleshooting customer connectivity and VoIP quality issues, and providing escalation for internal staff. Kevin also served as a mentor to staff, helping them grow in their knowledge and careers.

From June 2007 to January 2019, Kevin was a Sr. Network & Voip Engineer/Sr. System Design Engineer at Polycom. There, they were responsible for architecting and implementing the security infrastructure (firewalls and policies), which included Fortinet, Juniper SRX and Cisco ASA Firewalls. Kevin also participated in a project of replacing Fortinet Firewalls with Checkpoint Firewalls, and was responsible for firewall policy auditing and monitoring. In addition, Kevin was responsible for creating site to site IPSec VPN’s (B2B and Home Users), working on customer projects of learning and deploying A10 and F5 Load balancers, and configuring policies for RFC Standards for SIP/H.323 Registration and calling.

Other responsibilities Kevin had at Polycom included deploying Radius authentication on all security and network equipment, architecting, implementing and supporting the network and routing LAN/WAN infrastructure (Juniper and Cisco), Cisco and Juniper Wireless Infrastructure for Data, VoIP and Video Conference Connectivity, MPLS for remote sites and enterprise tradeshows, engineering labs (security, switching and routing), global VoIP/SIP/SIP Trunking infrastructure for North America, Latin America, EMEA and Asia Pacific regions, call center environments, global call center and all Interactive Intelligence CIC Applications, enterprise Polycom Telephones, configurations and firmware deployments, Audiocodes and Quintum Digital Gateways, liaison between Polycom Corporate and Polycom Engineering for all Corporate Polycom IP Phone Deployments, installation/troubleshooting of Standard Definition and High Definition Video Conference Infrastructure, centralized Co-lo facilities, ISDN BRI/PRI ,and project management.

Throughout their career, Kevin has demonstrated great relationship building and requirements gathering skills. Kevin has also been successful in liaising between different departments and teams in order to get projects completed successfully. Kevin’s experience in information technology spans over 12 years, making him an expert in the field.
