Lavin K. has extensive experience in platform engineering and architecture, currently serving as an Architect-Platform Engineering at Broadridge since January 2014. In this role, Lavin is responsible for strategy, architecture, design, and implementation of middleware, container-microservices, and event-driven distribution platforms for both public and private clouds. Leading a global team of over ten platform engineers, Lavin manages Broadridge’s core middleware and integration layers, contributing to multi-million-dollar revenue through backend processing using multi-tier JAVA and microservices applications. Prior to Broadridge, Lavin held the position of Lead Consultant-Middleware & DevOps at Verizon Wireless from August 2011 to January 2014, focusing on managing middleware and DevOps integration platforms. Earlier experience includes serving as a Middleware Engineer at the U.S. Department of Labor and a Senior WebSphere Administrator at SunTrust Bank. Lavin holds a degree from Visvesvaraya Technological University, obtained between 2001 and 2005.
