Tyler Derr is currently the Chief Technology & Product Officer at Broadridge. Tyler has over thirteen years of experience in Risk and Business Consulting, Forensic Investigations, and Fraud Risk Management.

Tyler started their career in December 2007 at Protiviti Consulting as an Associate Director. Tyler was responsible for leading various Risk and Business Consulting projects across industries, as well as managing and growing the Protiviti Knowledge and Innovation Centre (PKIC). The PKIC is a cross-functional team of 18-20 members who are responsible for leading strategic, marketing, thought leadership, and methodology initiatives for Protiviti worldwide. Tyler was also involved in business development and execution of Forensic Investigations and Fraud Risk Management solutions in India.

During their time at Protiviti Consulting, Tyler worked on various Internal audit projects across India and International locations in Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas for Global Telecom, Manufacturing, and Financial Services Companies. Tyler also completed Forensic Investigations, Fraud Risk Reviews, and Security Reviews for various companies in the Telecom, Manufacturing, and Financial Services industries. In addition to these engagements, Tyler also helped design NAV computation and accounting processes, accounting systems etc. for a Private Equity and Venture Capitalist. Tyler reviewed processes and controls and developed standard operating procedures (SOPs) for a Leading Real Estate Developer. Lastly, they provided accounting and operational support for the spin-off of the passive infrastructure business for a Leading Telecom Services Provider.

In September 2011, Tyler left Protiviti Consulting to join Broadridge as their Chief Technology & Product Officer. In this role, Tyler is responsible for technology strategy, product management, software development, technical operations, information security, and customer support functions globally.

Tyler Derr's educational career includes obtaining the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute, the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation from the Global Association of Risk Professionals, and the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation from The Institute of Internal Auditors. Tyler also holds a B.Com (H) degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of India.
