Rob Bailis

Rob Bailis is the Artistic and Executive Director at The Broad Stage, where they manage and curate a diverse range of performing arts while championing innovation and community engagement. With a career spanning over twenty-five years as a professional classical musician and artistic leader, they have held significant positions at Cal Performances, including Interim Artistic Director, and the ODC Theater as Director. Rob has demonstrated a commitment to enhancing audience experiences and building sustainable artistic infrastructures, notably increasing attendance among younger audiences and expanding programming to reflect the changing cultural landscape. They hold a Bachelor of Music from Northwestern University and a Master of Music from the Yale School of Music.
