Eric Thome

Eric Thome is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in talent and operations, venture advisory, and business development. Currently serving as Vice President of Talent and Operations at Broadtree Partners, LLC and Director at VentureSouth since 2016, Eric has a strong track record in supporting early-stage ventures in the Southeastern United States. Previously, Eric founded and managed multiple consulting and advisory firms, including Eric Thome Consulting and Death Valley Ventures LLC, focusing on strategic planning and capital connections for startups. With a background in engineering and an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, Eric has demonstrated leadership in various roles, including President of Into the Ideal, Managing Director of Business Development at Charles Towne Holdings, LLC, and CEO of Folbot. Eric also contributed to the entrepreneurial community as a business mentor with SCORE Charleston SC and is known for founding GameDay Blazers.
