Joris Doeven

Joris Doeven has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Joris started their career as the chairman of whoznext in 2004 and later became the secretary of Heerendispuut Ampelos. In 2008, they served as the treasurer for societeit it Heertje. Moving forward, Joris worked as a trainee recruiter for StudentenWerk, where they were responsible for finding suitable candidates for various part-time jobs and projects. Joris then ventured into entrepreneurship and founded Duaal Jobs, a student placement agency that specializes in providing dual students for practical learning. Joris also worked as a verhuurmakelaar (real estate agent) at Domica Amsterdam, where they handled the entire rental process. From there, they joined NRC Media as an account manager for NRC Carriere. Following that, they worked at Brockmeyer Jobmarketing Experts in multiple roles, including job marketing expert, senior account manager, and currently as a key account manager. Joris's newest role is as a relationship manager at Colourful jobs | Vacatures met aandacht voor Diversiteit & Inclusie starting in 2023.

Joris Doeven's education history begins in 2001 when they attended Osg Fedde Schurer Heerenveen, where they earned their Havo degree in Economics in 2006. Following this, they attended North west classen high school in Oklahoma City for the 2006-2007 academic year, completing their high school education.

In 2007, Joris enrolled in Stenden, where they pursued a degree in Hospitality Administration/Management until 2009. During this time, they did not obtain a specific degree.

From 2009 to 2013, Joris attended the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Economics.

In 2012, Joris briefly studied at Örebro University, focusing on Economics for a year.
