Vincent Smith is a leader in NGS and genomic technology development, currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Broken String Biosciences since 2023. Prior to this role, Vincent held various positions, including Vice President of Technology at Exact Sciences from 2020 to 2022, and Chief Technology Officer at Base Genomics during the same period. Vincent's earlier experience includes serving as Senior Director of Scientific Research at Illumina and Group Leader at NextGen Sciences. Vincent earned a Master’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford and a PhD in Biochemistry from Imperial College London.
