Ian Stringer is a Chartered Surveyor (FRICS) with 40 years of experience in commercial real estate, specializing in offices and mixed-use development, as well as asset and property management. Currently a Principal at Avison Young since 2019, Ian also serves as Principal at REI plc and as a Non-Executive Director at Bromsgrove School, where Ian holds the position of Chair of the Buildings Committee. Previously, Ian was a Senior Director at GVA UK from 1983 to January 2019, and has held various leadership roles including Regional Senior Director for GVA in the Midlands and Non-Executive Chairman from 2005 to 2008. Ian's contributions extend to serving as a West Midlands CBI Regional Councillor and as an Asset and Property Manager for The Governors of The Schools of King Edwards VI in Birmingham. Ian graduated with a BSc in Estate Management from Birmingham Polytechnic.
