Justin Smith

Justin Smith is an experienced video editor with a strong background in news and media production. Since July 2018, Justin has worked at BronxNet Community Television, specializing in editing news packages, long-form shows, and social content in both English and Spanish, using Adobe Premiere and the Creative Suite. Prior experience includes a role at NY1, Spectrum News, from November 2010 to June 2018, where Justin edited under tight deadlines and collaborated closely with reporters and producers. Notable achievements include winning the New York Press Club Award in 2018 for the "Facebook Fraud" segment. Justin's early experience includes an internship at SJU-TV, where responsibilities included camera operations and graphic composition during live broadcasts. Justin holds a B.A. in Comparative Studies with a focus on Cinema and Cultural Studies from Stony Brook University.
