Brooke's Brigade was born from the memory of Julie and Brian Elfers’ daughter, Brooke—a bright, funny soul who lost her life to suicide while waiting for a therapy appointment. Because we believe no teen should ever have to wait to feel supported, we created the 'We Need You Here' box. Our boxes go to schools and clinics to reach kids exactly where Brooke was: in the waiting period. They contain immediate-use resources, encouragement, and reminders of their worth. As a new non-profit, we’re able to do this solely through your generosity. Thank you for helping us tell these teens: We need you here.
Donations can be made via NAMI Wisconsin at https://secure.qgiv.com/for/brookesbrigadedonations/.
