Melissa Young is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who is in private practice in Virgil, Ontario, and offers safe, effective and personalized treatment options via in-person appointments and also through telemedicine.  Assessment and care is highly confidential.  Melissa collaborates with Simpson's Compounding pharmacy to offer some specialized, unique and highly effective treatments that address many age related health concerns.  Melissa's BHRT education has been with Dr Neal Rouzier of Worldlink Medical, and she primarily offers these types of bio-identical hormone replacement therapy options to clients.  Melissa is fully licensed in both Ontario and in New York state and is able to evaluate and treat clients from both countries.  Her consults are not covered by insurance in most cases and she does not offer direct billing to insurance companies.  Medical weight loss treatments are available for eligible patients, and these include ozempic, MIC, and MIC plus injections.  Most clients are over 40, and complete validated symptom questionnaires prior to treatment.  Most clients report that their symptoms are significantly improved after 6 weeks of treatment, most reporting symptoms scores that are less than half, and many report full or almost full resolution of quality of life symptoms.
