Deborah Ong

Deborah Ong has a strong background in tax management and consulting. Deborah started their career at KPMG in 2014 as a Senior Tax Consultant, where they handled various tax-related responsibilities for large ASX-listed companies. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Tax Associate at BlackRock. In 2018, Deborah returned to KPMG as a Senior Tax Manager until 2021. In the same year, they joined The Arnott's Group as a Tax Manager before transitioning to their current role as Tax Manager at Brookfield Asset Management in 2021.

Deborah Ong obtained a Bachelor of Business degree in Accounting from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) in 2014. Deborah also earned a Bachelor of Laws degree from the same institution during the same period. Later, from 2014 to 2017, they pursued a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
