Greg Wright

Greg Wright holds a PhD in Economics from the University of California, Davis, completed in 2011, and a Bachelor's degree in Astrophysics from the University of California, Berkeley. Wright has held various academic positions, including Assistant Professor at UC Merced from January 2014 to June 2020, and is currently an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of California, Merced. Previous experience includes serving as a Lecturer at the University of Essex, Research Assistant at UC Davis Economics, and Research Associate at the Public Policy Institute of California. In September 2023, Wright was appointed as a Non-Resident Senior Fellow and Senior Fellow at The Brookings Institution, where leadership of the Workforce of the Future initiative is a key responsibility.
