Stephen Walter

Stephen Walter has been working at the intersection of technology, community, and civic design for the past 15 years. He's worked globally - with organizations such as the Red Cross, the UN, and the State Department; and hyper-locally - with partners like the Boston Public Health Commission, the Cape Cod Commission, and the Mayor's Office of New Urban Mechanics. He's joining BIG as Director of Special Projects, a new position aimed at exploring the cutting edge of community media and how organizations like BIG can build new connections and possibilities with the communities they serve.
